Dr. Jose Maria & Luisa Trujillo
Who made Houston their home and contributed to the intellectual & cultural life of the city, leaving their mark on its legacy of medical research.
Dr Jose Trujillo was the Olla Stribling Chair Professor for Cancer Research and Head of the Division of Lab Medicine at MD Anderson, receiving the MD Anderson Outstanding Achievement Award in 1992.
Luisa's philanthropic efforts were centered on the HGO as a contributing member of its Board of Trustees & the Houston Institute of Hispanic Culture.

Milby "Dow" & Wanda Louise Dunn
He, a life member of the University of Texas Health Science Center and a senior member of the M.D. Anderson Board of Visitors. Milby Dow also served as President of the Board of Directors of the John S. Dunn Research Foundation for 20 years. He was a devoted family man, loved his homes, his history books, chocolate, southern cooking, music, and his roses.
She, proud & loving mother, long-time member of the Assistance League of Houston, the “Queen of Ole Miss Rebel Hearts”, a member of the Pan Am “Clipped Wings Club”, and a private cooking club.

Mrs. Jewel "Julie" Biedenharn Crosswell
A true blessing to the Houston community. Her desire to positively impact the city led her to serve selflessly on countless Boards, just a few of which include: MD Anderson Board of Visitors, the Shepherd Society, Rice University's Music School Governing Council, U of H Graduate College of Social Work, Dean's Advisory Council, University of Texas Health Science Center, Governor's Commission for Women, Alley Theater, & the Houston Ballet. She Especially enjoyed her relationships with Communities in Schools serving as a Board Member for over 20 years.
