Philip Paul Sudan, Jr.
Texas Native, UT alum, UH Law School alum, & an editor of the Houston Law Review. Paul Sudan was a renowned attorney in business and contractual law, eventually expanding into international business law. His most famous case was as lead attorney for Bud Adams in his quest to move the Houston Oilers from Houston to Tennessee. An active member at Second Baptist, he was very involved in his Sunday School class and several weekly studies. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. He especially loved the Beatles, passing his love of music, lyrics, and its cultural context to his grandchildren. He was also an avid Astros fan, and a long-time season ticket holder.
Justice D. Camille Hutson Dunn
Trail-blazing Attorney at law. First woman elected to Texas Appeals Court. First woman presiding over First Court of Appeals, Houston, TX. In 1947 received an appointment to the Legal Division of the Corps of Engineers, stationed in Greece, where she worked adjusting labor difficulties between employees, both American and Greek. This prepared her for her future as judge. In 1963 admitted to Texas bar & enjoyed an illustrious career serving Texas in various judicial capacities.
